Job Description:The Vistas at Bettendorf is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Licensed Registered Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling, developing personalized meal plans, and working closely with individuals to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare team focused on improving the lives of our patients.Responsibilities:Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized diet plans to address medical conditions, weight management, and overall health.Educate patients on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes to promote optimal well-being.Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting diet plans as needed.Provide group or individual nutrition education and support.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.Stay informed on the latest nutrition research and trends to ensure evidence-based practice.Participate in community outreach and wellness programs as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution.Must be a licensed and registered dietitian (RD or RDN) in the state of Iowa.Strong knowledge of nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and evidence-based practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Experience in [specific areas, if applicable, e.g., diabetes, weight management, pediatric nutrition] is a plus.Familiarity with nutrition-related software or electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in Iowa
• Excellent communication skills
