Job Description:

The Vistas at Bettendorf is seeking a reliable and caring Transportation Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and other approved destinations while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate facility vehicle to transport residents according to a scheduled route. Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring proper use of seatbelts, lifts, and other safety equipment. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the vehicle. Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate trip records and mileage logs. Provide friendly, respectful, and courteous service to all residents and staff. Follow all traffic laws, facility policies, and transportation protocols.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid Chauffeur’s License (required).
• Clean driving record (no major violations).
• Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Must pass background check and physical
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges safely and respectfully.
